Disclaimer: Just to cover my little derriere here, if I owned the Phantom of the Opera I'd have much better things to do with his time and mine than write stories!

Other notes: Another 100-word dribble: working with this a bit since I seem to have met with a fair amount of success on my last (and first) 100- word attempt, "Seared With A Kiss." I'm juggling titles for this one at this time, please let me know which one's better. Hope someone likes the story!

Thank you OGK , for pointing out the typo in my disclaimer. As you can see, I've since corrected it (though my hands threaten to make another one here!)

I Never Said. (Archimedes' Principle)

by Angel Celeste85

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I never said I would move heaven and earth for you. Even a fallen Angel cannot do that, and I do not make promises that I am not prepared to keep. Even Archimedes would have found it a Herculean task. So of course I laughed at the Vicomte's fervent assurances that he would do exactly that.

Or at least, I would have. If I had not seen red from jealousy..

But... I never said I would not try, either.

I try tonight. I hope I can play two roles simultaneously.

"Don Juan" is my lever. Your heart is my world.
