The Witch's husband
' Isn't it hard? ' Samantha asked her twin brother
It was during Lore's birthday party. The little girl, born from Josh and Rishell Anderson, became a teenager seeking knowledge. Josh looked at his sister, he clearly did not understand what she meant.
' Isn't it hard to be a witch's husband? ' She said
The man smiled, looking at his wife who was talking to Melissa, the oldest of the Andersons' siblings.
' Mom was a witch too, remember? It did not bother Dad. ' Josh replied
' But Mom was a witch of light. And she cured herself from this magic. Rishell is on the side of the evil witches. Isn't it hard? '
Josh was still looking at his wife. She decided to follow the dark path a long time ago, when Ryan, their firstborn child, was still a baby. He watched her turning green, learning spells, some of them were lethal. But Josh did not mind at all.
' It did not change her heart. She is still the woman I have fallen in love with. '
He could remember her being radiant everytime she learnt a new spell, successfully made a potion, her smile and excitement when he tried to understand her art when she explained it to him. Rishell had not change a bit.
' As long as she is happy, so am I. '
The little accidents due to her magic became memories they could laugh about. Being on the edge of becoming an elder, Josh never regretted the path Rishell chose.
Because it made her happy.
It was a part of her.
And Josh loved everything about Rishell.
The End
