Ginny walked up the aisle to Harry. But this wasn't the happy ending she had hoped it would be. She walked up the steps, and bent over the marble coffin, to see Harry's face for one last time. He was smiling up at her as she bent down to kiss his forehead, before taking her seat.

An old wizard stood up and started talking. He didn't know Harry, not the way Ginny did. This just wasn't right. She flicked her wand, discretely, and music started playing. It was a muggle song.

There's no one in town I know
you gave us some place to go.
I never said thank you for that.
I thought I might get one more chance.

No one noticed the music; they carried on crying, listening to the wizard talk about a young man who was so brave, such a great wizard. Who was he talking about? This wasn't Harry. He wouldn't have wanted people to think he was brave; he just did what he had to. He wouldn't have wanted people remembering him as a great a wizard. He had known much greater wizards than himself.

What would you think of me now,
so lucky, so strong, so proud?
I never said thank you for that,
now I'll never have a chance.

Ginny was thinking of all the times she had had with Harry. She wanted to thank him for all the memories he had left her with. She wanted to thank him for many things, and she never had. She wanted to thank him for saving her in the chamber of secrets, for giving up his life to save her in the final battle. If he hadn't stood in front of her, as Bellatrix shot at her, things would've been different. It would be Harry sat in this seat, and Ginny lying at the front.

May angels lead you in.
Hear you me my friends.
On sleepless roads the sleepless go.
May angels lead you in.

Ginny hoped Harry was happy now. He was with his parents, Sirius, and Dumbledore. And he would be watching over her for the rest of her life. The old wizard at the front had stopped talking, and more people had noticed the music.

They were led outside, to the grave that had been dug that morning, and the old wizard began talking again.

Ginny was wondering if things would've been different if Voldemort hadn't been after Harry. Why did it have to be him? Of all the people, why Harry? He could've had a normal life, with his mum and his dad, and maybe brothers and sisters. But if he hadn't been 'Harry Potter' would him and Ginny have been together?

God she missed him

And if you were with me tonight,
I'd sing to you just one more time.
A song for a heart so big,
god wouldn't let it live.

Ginny watched as Harry's body was lowered into the grave, and the earth piled on top of him. The gravestone appeared, and the guests went into the house. Ginny stayed out, looking at the grave, listening to the music

May angels lead you in.
Hear you me my friends.
On sleepless roads the sleepless go.
May angels lead you in.

An idea hit her. She pulled out her wand and added 5 words to the gravestone

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
