Ode to Eärendil
Forever
more, you'll shine up high
Your
boat has passed beyond
The
brightest star to grace the earth
Broken
from your family bond
High
above, amongst the stars
Your
journey will go on
To
explore a newer realm
And
forever to be gone
Born
of Elves and born of Men
The
sea within you heart
Your
guide upon your brow
Vingilot
set to depart
Out
of love alone, you made your choice
For
the judging at the end
So
now sail amongst the stars
And
forever be content
A/N:I had some really bad moments of silliness writing this. I swear, if you don't know, you don't WANT to know the many last sentences of the last two paragraphs. When I started this I had something grander in my mind, but this is what I got out, so I hope you like it. Please tell me what you think.
