Worst Nightmare Come True
Gabriella was currently in her room trying on dresses for the dinner that the Evans was throwing tonight at Lava Springs. Her boyfriend Troy was laying lazily on her bed with her eyes closed. Gabriella put on a dress and turned around to face Troy.
"Troy what do you think?" Gabriella asked turning around for Troy to see. Troy lifted his head up to see Gabriella in a red dress.
"You look great babe," Troy replied. Gabriella didn't believe him.
"Are you sure? I think it makes me look a little over dressed," Gabriella responded taking off the dress.
"Sure whatever," Troy called to her. Gabriella put on a strapless black dress and walked over to her bed where Troy was currently laying down on.
"Troy, honey I know you don't want to go to tonight's party but you have to," Gabriella said sitting down next to him. He sat up. "But why? I don't understand why we have to go," Troy said looking at her.
"Troy it's just a harmless party that the Evans are throwing. Besides how bad can it be?"
"The most boring party on the planet," Troy replied.
"And why is that?"
"Because for one all of our parents will be there so it's more like a adult party which are never fun. We are not going to have anything to do but talked to people about my basketball skills and scholarships and my future. And that sweetie is very boring."
"Aw come on Troy it can't be that bad. Besides I'll be with you every minute of the party." Troy looked at her.
"You promise?"
"With all my heart." Troy thought for a moment.
"Okay I'll go. But remember your promise," Troy said pointing his finger at her.
"I will. No go home, take a shower, and put on a nice suit," Gabriella said pulling him off the bed. Troy grunted. She pushed him towards the door. He stopped before he was out the door. He turned around.
"You know I rather take a shower here with you," Troy said wrapping his arms around her waist.
"I'm sure you do but you have to go home," Gabriella said.
"Well I don't need a shower. I can stay here and help you," Troy said not letting go of her.
"Oh yeah and how are you going to do that?"
"Well I can help you pick out a dress."
"Troy you had a chance to do that and you lost it."
"I can help you get dress. Hey I can even help you get undress," Troy said smiling devilishly.
"No thank you. I can do that on my own. Now go home and get ready before you make us late for the party."
"Okay, okay fine I'll go." Troy was outside the door now. He let go of her.
"So I guess I'll pick you up at 6," Troy said.
"Yeah."
"Okay. I love you."
"I love you too. Now get out of here." Troy chuckled and kissed her softly then left.
Evans' Party
Troy and Gabriella arrived at Lava Springs. They entered the restaurant area of the country club. Mr. and Mrs. Bolton had already arrived and were talking among the other adults.
Troy leaned over to Gabriella. "I told you it was going to be boring," Troy whispered into her ear. Gabriella smiled at him and pulled him towards the rest of the gang.
"Well, well, well. Look who finally showed up," Chad said drinking some soda. Troy smiled at him.
"Sorry we're late. Troy here didn't have the heart to hurry up," Gabriella said hitting him in the stomach with her elbow.
"Well I was a little distracted cause someone sexy kept changing dresses in front of me," Troy replied.
"Okay, okay. We don't need to hear any more," Taylor said interrupting the couple. Ryan came up to the gang.
"What's up gang?" Ryan asked as he approached them.
"Hey Ryan," The group said in unison. The rest of the party, everyone talked to each other enjoying each other's company. But one thing they didn't know was that something tragic was about to occur.
