Three years.

Three years of once-a-week Facetime calls with Kendall, where they'd talk for a few short minutes before finally falling asleep. Three years of sending multiple e-mails to each other every day to keep up with each other's lives. Three years without hugging, kissing, or cuddling with the person she most wanted to.

And she was finally going back.

But things were going to be different now.

The Palm Woods is a place for people looking for their chance to become stars. After three years and a total of three albums, Big Time Rush is a name known to almost everyone in the world. Camille is now known as the hot demon on a popular television show about the Apocalypse. The Chauncy Jackson movie is a box-office hit, breaking several records over the course of its opening weekend.

Jo Taylor is thinking about all these things when her flight finally lands in Los Angeles.

She knows it's only an hour or so before she sees him again.

Taking a deep breath, she heads straight for the baggage claim and hardly needs to wait for her bag. People are, of course, whispering things and pointing at her.

"Miss Taylor?"

Jo turns to face a little boy dressed up in a Chauncy Jackson t-shirt-he can't be any older than seven. "Can I help you?"

"I-um. My mama said I should tell you that I think you're very pretty. And I was wondering if I could have your autograph?" He asks shyly.

This is probably her favorite part of her job. "Of course! What's your name?"

"Kendall!"

She laughs a little before asking, "Really? Well, Kendall-"

"No!-I mean, it's Kendall Knight!" She follows his pointing finger and her eyes land upon the tall boy in a plaid shirt with a confused expression on his face.

Her breath catches, but he hasn't seemed to see her yet.

"Miss Taylor, didn't you used to be boyfriend and girlfriend with Kendall?" The boy asks in what he must think is a polite way, but it's rather foreward. Jo doesn't mind.

"Yes-I haven't seen him in a very, very long time. Do you mind if I come right back?"

The boy, bless his heart, shakes his head with a smile on his face.

And Kendall finally spots her. He stops for a moment and they just grin stupidly at each other. Finally, he seems to remember something in his hand and he's holding up a sign-'any kind of guy you want.'

Before she knows it, she's launching herself into his arms and burying her face in his t-shirt. She doesn't even care about the paparazzi that's bound to be everywhere. It doesn't matter that she's probably smearing her make-up and looking a bit ridiculous as the two of them stand there in a tight embrace, not wanting it to end anytime soon.

"I missed you," he says into her hair.

"Me, too."

Their first kiss in three years is probably the best kiss she's ever had.
