Harry Potter flew above the Quiddich field, surveying the empty stands and the so far below him. Above the grass, his homework, the world. He was up so high, even Hagrid, in his garden looked like ant. His mind ran free for the first time in weeks. It's scary, having a insane, evil, powerful wizard after him for his life. But other things chased this horrific fear around his mind.

He still had that crush on Cho Chang, and could not bring up the nerve to ask her out, with Cedric's death haunting not just him, but everyone. And all that was happening, the fear that someone could get into Hogwarts was terrifying. Sirius could do it, so can Voldemort. Throw in Rita Skeeter's reports, and he was is a pretty bad position indeed. But he had to be optimistic, and he did have two great friends, a godfather watching over him from a distance, and the protection of his mother. And Hermione had comented on how yellow old Reta's reports of Malfoy's seemed to be getting.
Oh I feel so alive
Tonight and the rest of my life
He knew he would give his life to bring down Voldemort. He did not think he would have to, or he hoped not, but he would. And the world was still so fresh, the air so clean. The evil touching it would hopefully form just a scar, not a huge injury. He was going to enjoy every minute of his life, never knowing how long it would last.
Trying to figure out what all this is for
He was positive he must defeat Voldemort. His thoughts, though, were interupted by Ron and Hermione, running into the field. He landed, and ran off to meet his friends.
