"I heart you," the raven haired, drug smuggling, life ruining bitch whispered. The blonde laughed simply laughed, causing the other to furrow her brow. Suddenly the two are somehow children, afraid to say the word 'love'.

On one side, she was happy to hear that and willing to accept it. On the other, she wanted to leap from the single sized mattress and shout. Luckily, the first side ruled heavily over the other.

With Alex's arms wrapped securely around the girl's waist, she felt it. She was safe and loved, just like before. But, she knew it was wrong. Deep in her bones she knew it was wrong. Fuck. Why does this have to happen? Why does she feel so right?

Piper sucked her lower lip between her teeth, not responding yet. She has Larry. Sweet and nerdy Larry, her fiancé. Larry isn't here, though. Her knight in shining armour isn't here. Not to mention he hasn't answered a damn phone call in over a week.

Trying to calm herself, Piper looked into Alex's eyes. She was defenseless as defenseless could be. She let her walls fall down, no tough chick act. Nothing. All for Piper. That's when she knew she could respond. That's when she realised those feelings from years prior, despite being hidden with immense hatred, were still there.

"I heart you, too," the silence breaking between the two, all thoughts vanished from their minds. The two smiled at each other. Being locked up sucks, but at least being locked up with someone who loves you is can help your time go a lot smoother.
