In a Cardiff Alley- the wall of a nearby building turns into a puddle-like reflecting pool. Donna, a tall blonde 19 year old, steps out of the pool into the street. She gives the impression she's prepared for anything- dressed in cargo pants and a worn button down- a small backpack slung over one shoulder.
She glances up and down the alley and then makes her way out towards the street.
Donna rounds the corner, to find a newsstand where she scopes out the headlines of the local papers and magazines. She leans in to get a closer look at a tabloid that reads "LIZARD PEOPLE LIVING AMONGST US!". Exactly what she's looking for! She snatches it from the news stand and quickly pays for it with an odd looking gift card.
Searching through the tabloid- she hurries down the street.
Suddenly, a sound stops her dead in her tracks. A screeching metallic weezing- the sound of the TARDIS! Donna takes off running in the direction of the sound.
The TARDIS lands unnoticed in the middle of a small town square. Clara pops out- pulling on her jacket. She shouts back in, "Come on, Doctor! It's-"
Just then Donna comes barreling around the corner of a building. She's drawn a pistol and has it pointed directly at Clara- who barely has time to react to the gun before Donna has forced her back into the TARDIS. Donna follows her in and slams the door behind them both.
The Doctor and Clara stand shocked at the intruder- who is now pointing the gun at the Doctor. The Doctor's confusion quickly turns to anger. "Clara!" Clara turns and glares at him. "Shut the door?!"
Clara gives him a bewildered look, "She has a gun, Doctor!"
"Yes, and now she has a gun- IN THE TARDIS!"
Donna shakes her weapon at them, "Both of you shut up!"
All the Doctor's anger now turns on Donna. He stares her down while she quickly takes in her surroundings. She turns her attention back to him and fixes him with her own intense glower. An eerily familiar one at that. "You're the Doctor?" He doesn't answer- except to quirk an eyebrow up, angrily. She considers him for a moment before continuing, "I need you to come with me."
"And why would I do that?"
"The Bad Wolf sent me"
The Doctor's brow furrows in confusion for a split second- before rage washes over his entire body. When he speaks again- it's nearly a growl. "You've just chosen a very bad thing to lie about." The Doctor steps toward Donna, all Oncoming Storm. Clara slinks back- she doesn't know what's going on but she's never seen the Doctor quite this angry.
Donna, though nervous, stands her ground. "Stop right there! I never waste an opportunity to shoot a Time Lord! But she says you can help us." Donna pulls a piece of paper from her jacket pocket- which she hands to him. "Said to give you this if you wouldn't come."
The Doctor takes the paper and reads the quickly scribbled Gallifreyan that's written on the front. He looks up, disconcerted. "Impossible."
Clara steps up to look over his shoulder, "Why what's it say?"
The Doctor keeps his eyes locked on the intruder, "My name."
