I was up on a mountain. Mt. Nibel i believe it was. I was attacked by a giant beetle creature and was bleeding out. As i began to pass out i saw a figure in the distance with spiky hair in the background. I screamed for help and blacked out as he ran towards me.
"Hey! Wake up!"
I heard a voice say to me as i started to grasp reality once more. "We found you in a crevice with a giant hole in your stomach so we used a few remedies and potions to patch you up. I was also able to use some of my materia to heal you,"
A female voice said. They then revealed their names. The male was Cloud and the female was Aerith. Later that night I felt like a burden. I could hear Cloud and Aerith arguing from the room next to mine. "Listen, if we keep this guy with us it's just another mouth to feed and we can't handle that right now!"
Aerith exclaimed. "We can't just leave him out there with nobody to take care of-"
Cloud said as he was interrupted by Aerith. "Shut up!"
Aerith exclaimed. I then heard Cloud slap Aerith. "I- I'm sorry Aerith! I didn't mean to!"
"Leave! Get out NOW!"
Aerith yelled at the top of her lungs. Cloud was now bursting into tears on the ground. "Okay,"
Cloud whispered. He then pulled out his sword, pointed it at himself, and stabbed himself through the stomach. I ran into the room to see Cloud writhing on the ground in pain. "Sir, please. Come closer,"
Cloud said as i knelt down to him. "Tell me, what is your name,"
Cloud said. I told him my name as he touched my cheek and died. I then sneaked out later that night. I walked up to the peak of Mt. Nibel with Cloud's corpse. "With this man's death, comes my death as well!"
I exclaimed as i put Cloud's corpse in the snow and touched his heart. I then jumped off of the cliff. "Goodbye, cruel world we call Gaia,"
I said as i plummeted towards the ground, hit it, and died. This night was a special one. Made new friends, lost them, even lost myself in the process
