A/N: One-shot of two of Atlantis's main characters in a rather . . . unexpected (for some) position. BiteMeTechie's 100 starting lines from the WPBA forum, Line #100: "I don't know what you see in me..."

"I don't know what you see in me..." he said as he kissed her again. She giggled and kissed him back.
"I'm not entirely sure either," she whispered into his ear, causing the hairs on the back of his neck to prickle.
He sat up and looked down at her, admiring the way her dark hair made waves in a halo around her head. He stuck out his lower lip in a pout as he started, "Well that wasn't quite the comeback I was hoping for..." but his pout disappeared as she pulled him back down to the bed and kissed him senseless.
When she finally let go of him and sat up, he gulped some much-needed air and shook his head to clear his befuddled mind.
"What . . . what was I talking about?" he asked, a confused look crinkling his brow.
She laughed, a low, musical sound that nearly pushed him over the edge of oblivion again. Growling under his breath, he rolled her over so that their positions were reversed, her laying on the bed and him balanced on his elbows with his face inches from hers, staring into her intense green eyes.
"Never mind, don't tell me, I don't want to think about anything right now," he said with such an air of finality that she laughed again. He smirked at this and moved closer. She stopped laughing when she saw the look on his face, and was about to ask him what he was doing when she became lost in his ice-blue eyes and decided it wasn't worth it.
His smirk widened and he brushed a stray curl away from her cheek gently. "You're so beautiful," he whispered. She looked up at him, taking in the roguish glint in his eyes, his messy clothes, and his untidy hair, and smiled. "I wish I could say the same for you," she teased.
Stung by the comment, he twisted his torso away from hers and put on his sorrowful puppy-dog look.
She laughed yet again. "Sorry, John, that won't work on me."
"But Elizabeth!" he pleaded, widening his eyes even further, and she laughed.
"Okay, alright, I give in, but I warn you, don't try anything funny, or I'll be forced to retaliate."
His grin from when she started talking disappeared at her last comment, replaced by one of speculation and apprehension. She slapped his arm playfully.
"Not that kind of retaliation, silly, this kind." she admonished.
As soon as he'd got his breath back, he looked at her again in awe and admiration, and replied, "Well in that case, I believe it's worth it."

A/N: Plotless? Possibly. Pointless? Probably. Fun to write? Most definitely.
