Oops.
(Nate P.O.V.)
I finally got home after 13 hours. Shane kept messing up, Jason kept on being distracted and our manager made us write new songs in 5 hours. I open the door expecting my wife of one year to greet me, she didn't. I put down my guitar case and bag by the door and took of my shoes. I went to the dining room, no Caity, kitchen, nope, living room, nope. I finally saw her at the balcony in front of the living room. ( We had a two story apartment/penthouse.) I was about to speak but I heard her say something interesting to well, no one in particular, but I hid behind the curtain and listened.
"Ok, Nate, I'm pregnant. No." At this my jaw dropped, leaving my mouth wide open. "My Caity? The one I married? The one I fell in love at 11 years old? The one whose now having MY child? I thought. Caitlyn continued, "Nate, I love you by the way I'm having your child, let's go to the beach. Well.. No. Oh, my god, oh my god, oh my god. Nate is going to hate me. ARGH! Stupid sexy Nate. Stupid sex drive. Stupid birth control pills. Stupid broken condom. OH. MY. GOD. He's going to leave me. URGH! He's got his whole life and career ahead of him. I'm going to ruin his life. Oh my gosh. I can't have this baby. Ugh stupid hormones. Stupid me." I peeked a little. I saw her spread her arms out and looked out into the sky. Her back to me." GOD? IF THIS IS YOUR WAY OF SAYING YOU HATE ME, WELL KILL ME NOW! THANKS TO YOU THE PERSON THAT MEANS MY WHOLE LIFE AND WORLD MIGHT LEAVE ME!" That's when I decided I had to stop her rambling. I go out and lean against the door way crossing my arms across my chest, Caitlyn still muttering, "Nate's going to leave me and hate me." She had been pacing and wringing her hands.
"You know I could never hate you or leave you."I say. Caitlyn turns around, her face wrote shock, worried, and tiredness. She had bags under her eyes.
"Na, Na, Nate! How-How long have you been there?" She stuttered. I walk over to her smirking a little, I stop in front of her. She looked up, still had a face of worry and shock. I caressed her cheek.
"Long enough to know that my beautiful wife is going to have my child.' I say then cupped her face then kissing her passionately. I put my forehead to hers and look down at her. She still looked shocked. My hands go to her sides, pulling her close. "You know the first sign to you're crazy is by talking to yourself." I laugh. Caitlyn didn't look shock any more nor worried. She just rolled her eyes, hits my chest playfully. I feign hurt. She wraps her arms around my torso, laying her head on my chest and sarcastically says,
"Ha, ha you're sooo funny. Why do I love you?"
"Because I'm sexy." I wink. She lets go and hits me. Hard. Repeatedly. And yelling,
"Eavesdropper!" I laugh.
"You know it's true." I wink again. I duck as Caitlyn tries to hit me again. she wraps her arms around my torso again. I hug her too.
"Shut up. I can't believe I love you."
"I love you too, forever-" I get cut off.
"And ever." she looks at me and smiles. She goes on her toes and kisses me again. When we pull apart I let go of her and jump around the balcony screaming and clapping,
"We're having a baby!" She folds her arms across her chest and rolls her eyes, smiling. I'll admit I might have looked like a five year old on Christmas day that just got his first set of drums. I stop in front of her, putting my forehead on hers again and whisper, "We're having a baby." Caitlyn smile got bigger, if possible.
"We're having a baby." She whispers back. We just stood there for a long time looking at each other, smiling, and holding each other close.
9 months later
Well 9 months later, Nicholas Dylan Geller-Bing was born. He looks exactly like me but with light brown eyes. Oh I ended up with a broken right hand and a couple of bruises. But it was so worth it.
