Suzaku is the ocean.

His anger crashes into the shore over and over, but he cannot break it.

He breaks against the shore instead, but he cannot break cannot cease cannot die.

He is empty.

The moon grips and drags him, smiling from a wan sky the color of Euphy's eyes.

He changes to match her but he cannot lie; when clouds hide her, he becomes grey once more.

When blood spills into him he swallows it and it cannot change him cannot poison him cannot stop him because he is the immortal swell and crash.

He cannot live.

He cannot die.

Suzaku just is.

His unstoppable heartbeat bears no life.

He is.
