Like Her Vision
By Hannah
Walking into the rehearsal room, Nora stopped dead, shocked to see a dozen people, not just Tyler, talking amongst themselves. She saw Lucy break out into a smile and Tyler turn around to face her. She must have looked slightly confused because Tyler flashed her a grin before motioning towards the people behind him.
"How many did you say you needed?"
Nora smiled, had Tyler done this for her?
"Wow..."
Lucy skipped over to her, smiling brightly, and wrapped her in a hug. "Why didn't you just tell me you needed more dancers for your showcase? You know I'd've done it."
Nora hugged her friend a little tighter and shot Tyler a grateful look, unable to say anything. "Um... Um... I don't know..."
"Well, now you do and here we are!"
Tyler grinned. "Told you this school was bustin' with kids in tights."
Several of the other dancers laughed at Tyler's comment but didn't seem to mind it, it was like they were in on the joke as well. Nora couldn't help but feel both suspicious and grateful.
"I can't believe you did this," she finally admitted.
"Come on, Nora, we'd do anything for you," one of the dancers stated, sounding like Nora was silly if she'd thought anything else.
"Yeah, girl, you've done stuff for us, why shouldn't we want to repay you?"
She grimaced at Tyler and Lucy's triumphant smile. "I never-..." she broke off at the warning look Tyler shot her and held up her hands in surrender. "Fine. Thank you guys so much," she amended. "Now let's get to work, we have a lot to do."
Tyler smirked. "Y'all heard the lady, fun is over!"
Nora slapped him on the arm on her way past him, ignoring the suggestive look Lucy was sending her. She was really glad she had gone with her instinct when it came to Tyler and told him about everything, it had certainly paid off. Looking back out over the rehearsal room, she couldn't help but smile seeing all those dancers getting ready to help her. Yes, she was very glad she'd gone with Tyler...
