I'm just finishing my breakfast when I get the text.

"Hey baby, I'm about to leave my apartment. Will you be ready in 20?"

I feel a slow smile creep onto my face and quickly type back, "I can definitely be ready if my favorite taxi service is on her way. :)"

Ten seconds later I get a smiley in return and I jump up and rinse my cereal bowl before running to my room to throw on an outfit. I quickly gather the last of my school books and toss them in my backpack before heading down to wait for her. I'm not always up early enough to see her in the mornings before school but when she knows I have an early class she makes it a point to pick me up on her way to work.

Those are my favorite days.

It wasn't five minutes later when I saw her little blue car coming down my street. She pulled over next to me and leaned over the passenger seat to pop my door open. Such a gentlewoman.

She squints out into the morning sun and offers a "Good morning baby." I smile back and return the greeting with a quick kiss as I slide into the car. She waits until I'm safely buckled in before easing her way back into traffic. After I'm settled she slides her hand into my lap, silently asking for mine. I give it to her with a smile before speaking, "You know babe I know you used to pick me up to woo me back when we first started dating but it's been like a year and half now. I'm sufficiently woo-ed, your kinda stuck with me now." I end it with a chuckle a squeeze of her hand. I definitely appreciate it but it is a little out of her way and I don't want her to feel obligated.

"Maybe I just like seeing your cute face in the morning. Makes my day so much better." She says with a grin.

I can't fault her for that but maybe I have a solution. "You know, there's a way you could see my cute face every morning..." Her hand looses it's grip and gets a bit clammy. She pulls into the next parking lot and shifts the car into park.

"Baby. Do you... Umm I mean are you saying... Like do you mean we should live together or something?" She finishes her question with squeak. I can't help but smile while kind of nodding my head and shrugging my shoulders.

"Yea I mean that would be pretty cool, yeah?"

"Like the coolest! Yes! Yes, I wanna move in with you!" She kind of half yells it as she flails to get across the console and give me a smacking kiss on the lips, then another and another, finishing with a kiss to each cheek. Then she seems to remember what were doing here and sinks back into her seat, huge grin plastered on her face and I can't help but think how much I enjoy seeing her cute face in the mornings.

We pull out of the parking lot and she drives the rest of the way to my school actually pulling into a lot and parking before getting out and coming around to my door. She opens it with a flourish and a small bow, offering her hand out to me. I can't help but giggle and let her pull me up and out, straight into her arms.

"You're going to be late for work!" I admonish lightly.

"So I'll stay over a little tonight. Then I can come pick you up after your last class tonight. It's a win-win. Besides today is a special occasion... I have to walk my new roomie to class!"
