Authors note: The characters are not mine. They belong to J.K.Rowling. This is the first story I had ever written. Should I write a sequal? Hope you enjoy!
Chapter 1
"You're breaking up with me?!"
"I… Draco please understand. It's not that I don't love you. I do, so much. But I don't think that our relationship could work" pleaded Harry.
"We always fight and argue over nonsense. I can't deal with this. What I want is a relationship that works, that …" Harry hesitated.
"A relationship like in the children fairytales?" asked Draco bitterly. His eyes brimming with tears.
He knew from the beginning that he shouldn't have trusted any of Harry's promise. But he was weak as his father had said. He had been foolish to think he could ever be happy. He was a scared and vulnerable boy during the war and Harry had taken advantage of him. Promising haven and happy endings like in the fairytales. Three months had past after Voldermorts death and now Harry had no use of him. He had hordes of prettier and better admirers and fans. He didn't need Draco to cling and get in the way. He knew that there will always be fight between them but it was always over petty reasons nothing too serious. He had been foolish, trusting Harry's promise.
Flashback
"I promise Draco. No matter what happened, no matter what we'll have to go through. I'll always love you and that we'll always be together" said Harry as he gently kissed Draco's lips.
"Promise!" said Draco breathily.
"Cross my heart and hope to die"
Present
"I should have listen to Severus when he told me not to trust you. When he told me that we could never work. I should have realise that once the war was over you don't need me anymore" tears begun to stream down Draco's cheeks.
"That's not how it is Draco, I…" cried Harry as he surged forward to console the man that he cared about.
"Isn't it! I'm not useful to you anymore in fact I'm just a bloody burden! I HATE YOU POTTER! I bloody hate you. You promised me. You told me you loved me! For that I'll ever forgive you!" sobbed Draco as he tried to push Harry away from him.
But Harry had always been much bigger and taller than him. All he could do was cry as Harry held him tightly in his arms telling Draco how sorry he was and that he didn't mean to make him cry.
And Draco cried in Harry's arms as his heart break.
Draco cried because he will never tell Harry that he was pregnant with their child for almost a month now.
Draco cried because his child will never know that his other father was Harry Potter The Saviour.
And Draco cried because he was alone once again and that he could never have his fairytale ending without Harry.
That night all Draco could do was cry.
