Grimmy: My favorite person of next gen. James Sirius Potter! To say I had fun writing this would be an understatement. It's for Jemennuie Sibling Challenge. I own absolutely nothing. I am too poor. :(

James liked to think of himself as the cooler older brother. He wanted to be the favorite simply because he loved the attention. That's why he teased Albus and babied Lily. Of course no one else saw it like this; they all assumed it was just the way the brothers played with each other. But no matter what he did he was never Lily's favorite.

That is until she got a boyfriend.

Albus had completely flipped and went on a rampage. Apparently the boy was some sort of snake loving pervert who only wanted her for her 'goods'. If James had still been at Hogwarts he probably would have agreed wholeheartedly and taught the boy a painful lesson or two. But as fate would have it he'd already graduated. That turned out to be a good thing.

The summer that Albus and Lily came back home they didn't speak a word to each other. She had purposely sought out big brother James to cry out all of her pent up frustrations. And like any good brother he listened, offering the occasional hug or pat on the back. He'd even resorted to making faces and using childish names just so she would laugh a little. He was the favorite then. He was number one.

That is until he caught her with a pale hand up her shirt a few days later.

Perhaps if it was her own hand he wouldn't feel so bad. But it wasn't. It was linked to, in his opinion, some albino freak with sissy blonde hair and stupid grey eyes. The two boys froze while Lily screamed. James couldn't hear her though and when he thought about it later he was sure the blonde freak didn't hear her either because he was still groping blindly. In reality he was just trying to get his hand out of her bra and fast but that wasn't what James saw.

That single bit of movement had somehow morphed into them stark ass naked and making out on his little sister's bed. It was what he told his parents when they asked what happened and it was what he screamed at the father of the poor boy with the now broken jaw. Apparently it served him right as well because no man should have a scream that high pitched.

After that Lily didn't really have a favorite brother anymore.

Grimmy: SHORT! But I liked it more than the one I did for the Black sisters. Reviews, advice, criticism and all that good stuff is appreciated.
