The sky shone bright shades of pinks, purples, and reds. There were a few crisp white clouds here and there but other than that, all was still. It seemed even the wind had ceased, outside of an oddly shaped little house in the rolling hills. Inside, was unusually quiet as well. All the chaos of the morning was gone as everyone have packed the night before.
Harry had just woken up, and was on his way to the breakfast he sure Mrs. Weasley would be preparing. His feet had other plans however, and he found himself wandering towards Ginny's room. He jumped as the door next to hers opened and out came his two best friends, hand-in-hand, laughing.
Hermione grinned as her eyes flickered from Harry's face to Ginny's door and then back. Ron awkwardly looked at Harry and then gave a shrug. It was his way of saying that he was fine with things the way they were between Harry and Ginny. He had grown used to it, since they had been snogging basically all summer.
"Well then, I guess we better be getting downstairs and grab something to eat before apparting," Ron said \with a wink grabbing Hermione around the waist and heading downstairs.
Harry turned his attention back to the door before him, then slowly and quietly turned the knob. The room inside was mostly dark, but with just enough light for him to be able to see the mess of bright orange all over the Quidditch pillow covers. Her beautiful face was in a small smile. She breathed in and out slowly in a peaceful sleep.
Even when she was asleep, her toxic beauty took Harry's breath away. He grinned to himself, beyond happy that he could spend this whole year with Ginny in his arms, safe, secure and worry-free.
