The places you'll go my children
Minerva McGonagall looked down at the sea of faces that she saw in the graduating class. She couldn't help but to show how proud she was, these were the students that had been through war, these where the students who had stood on the battle field alongside herself and bravely battled against Voldermort and his Death Eaters. Finally, today was the day that Minerva could set them free to be themselves but she couldn't let them go without a word of warning.
"Students," Headmistress McGonagall said, "Today you graduate from Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I know that many of you will achieve great and wonderful things.
I know that you all have the knowledge you need to succeed in this world, from this point on it is you who will decided which path you take, what your next action is. I know you'll come across paths that are wrong but I know you'll use your brains to learn from these paths and get back on the right one, for it is you who steer yourself down your own paths.
Some of you may find that you don't want to head down any of these paths, that is fine, do not worry for just keep on walking and you shall find the path that is meant for you. I know that things will turn for the worse as you explore the world outside this school's walls but I know that with everything you have gained in your years here you shall know what to do and pick the correct path.
You'll go places you'd never of dreamed of, you'll meet the most amazing people that you thought couldn't exist, you'll soar to new heights as you explore the large world. There may be times when you feel like you're struggling but don't fear for you are the best of the best, the brightest of the brightest and you'll soon find yourself back on track again.
You may feel that no matter what you try to do you should just stay down and out but fear not for I know your friends and family will be there to support you and to help you find your feet. I'm sure that you'll find the place that you're meant to be, the place that you are meant to be and once there I'm sure you'll outshine everyone else.
There will be times when no one is around to help you and the only path may seem dark and scary but I know that you'll go down that path to the place that you need to be, I have faith that you'll do what you need to do to reach your goal.
You'll move the mountains that you need to move, you'll gain the strength that you need to deal with things but today, today is your day. Today is the day that you'll go off and start your exploration to find all of these new places. I know you will all succeed."
Silence covered the great hall as everyone took in Minerva's speech.
"I know you will be successful," Minerva said as she gave a Dumbledore like smile, "Because nothing can be as dark, scary and difficult to do compared to standing up and fighting against Lord Voldermort and his Death Eaters. So the class that has stood up against the evilest of evil, the darkest of the dark, today is your day, the day that you go out into the world and find the place you are meant to be."
With that Minerva gave a nod of her head and the Great Hall broke out into applause.
