Feeling time passing
Author's note: I do not anything concerning the inspiring Naruto manga, neither these headlines below taken from a video version of "Unforgivable Sinner" by Lene Marlin.
Take hold on
As stupid as it sounds, Shino could swear against logic remaining in his head, time has stopped ever since his lips met the soft pair of Tenten. She had brocken through his shield with nothing more than her cheerfulness, her unique character and a smile. Just now shattering his neutral expression as well as his logic and controlled thinking. All he wanted was to stop time right now and forever.
As stupid as it sounds, Tenten had no idea why she was kissing Shino, but it felt so good and right. He had always tempted her somehow, but she never acted on it. Just now feeling Shino's firm lips; at first he was rigid but quickly leant in, holding her, in a wonderful moment without time. All she felt right now, every emotion just here and right now, could she remember all of this?
The past does not forget
How it started, what had happened on the way and every little detail of this special meeting; he could name it all. It started with subtle glances, then first meetings (not yet dates in their eyes), sharing lunch and dinner severall times and even going as a pair to formal events and nightmarkets. All of this and every detail is memorized by Shino. He told Tenten a few stories with so much details that she either could talk about it like she had been there or subconsciously lives through their moments again. It is their history he holds so dear.
The future will not remember
Here they are, facing an unknown future, Tenten settled in his arms. What lays ahead of them, none of them knows, but they are happy together. The twin bunned kunoichi knows there will be several challanges ahead of them, like living together, explaining things to Gai about his 'flower' who is in love with the 'bug', seeing Shino's eyes someday and discussions with the secretive Aburame clan. However she is calm and secure, because they would face all of this in their future together. Maybe her hobby could help them as well as Shino's silently made observations?
She knows, that Shino thinks about the past as a way through a web to the present, whereas Tenten herself lives in the present as an origin of several possible ways to the future. This completed both of them, just as in so many other cases they thought the same way but took a different way to handle it.
And now they had their best moment..., so far.
"Come on, Shino, I wanna fill a future with moments of us, which you'll remember!", Tenten tells Shino looking him straight in the dark glasses obscuring his eyes. Shino is more than willing to oblige her wish as he leans forward to create another magical moment right here, right now. 'Definitely there will be even more moments worth to be remembered just as much as those of today', thinking of this, he smiles into their second kiss.
