A/N: So, my friend recently forced me to watch Clannad and Clannad After Story. Oh my gosh, what a wonderful show. I thought of this while I was watching. Hopefully it's any good:)

She walks among the awakened,
Though her eyes are eternally closed.
Her sole purpose is to invite all students
To her older sister's upcoming wedding.
With her hand-carved starfish invitations
And the help of her very few friends,
The lost one will hand out the starfish
Until she has given away the very last one.
Since her accident, at her school she resides,
Subconsciously waiting for her time.
Others call her the "ghost girl" and run
But her two faithful friends will stay.
Her quirky remarks and odd obsessions
Are a few of the things that make them like her.
Though she may seem immature,
Her friends don't know what to do without her.
But forgetfulness blankets the town.
All who have received the girl's invitations
Do not recall being handed a wooden starfish.
With fire in her eyes, the girl is determined
To make more, not caring if her hands bleed.
Everyone has to come to her sister's wedding,
As far as the lost one is concerned.
But forgetfulness spreads like the plague,
Even as she hands out invitations for a second time.
The lost one begins to vanish from sight,
Only remaining in the eyes of her two friends.
Tears fill the trios eyes as they realize what is
To happen next. They will forget, they will
Lose all memories of their dear friend.
Her jokes will be gone forever.
Her tantrums washed away from their minds.
They would never remember her,
their dear younger friend
