Here is a poemI wrote after seeing the movie "Fahrenheit451". In the book, Beatty's character was hard to understand why he lost it with Montag and why he was a fireman. But when I saw it being acted out in the movie,I could see that the reason was that he hates people who can understand books. He's angry that the people who owned books could read them and understand the meanings and he couldn't. This is interpeting his feelings and this theme when he was being burnwed with the flame-thrower. Enjoy!
