Sam sighed.
Dean had just left the room after checking on him, again.
Sam had pretended to be asleep, because he was afraid they would argue.
They were still at Bobby's. The Impala still wasn't ready to Dean's standards.
Sam knew Dean was starting to worry because Sam wasn't researching anything: a new hunt, Castiel, or anything else, but Sam was still struggling with himself.
He knew he had shattered just like a mirror and he wasn't certain he had all the pieces much less in all the right places.
The fragments of his very being: mind, memory, and soul.
