It had been tucked under the door. I thought nothing of it as I walked in, used a tissue to pick it up and set it on the counter. I was used to it. Anonymous letters with threats of bodily harm, someones god to come down and 'set' me right and death threats were common. So I figured I would get a good laugh to see what someone was trying to say out of this threat, throw it away so Dad wouldn't see and get on with my homework.

I used the cleaning gloves and a knife that I quickly placed in the sink to wash after dinner before quickly shaking it upside down to dislodge anything that shouldn't be in there. People have put powders and other things in envelopes then claim I had anthrax, smallpox or the bubonic plague (someone had watched NCIS before they did that one) and while they were mostly harmless, sometimes there were itching powders.

I had to wash my hands five times after that to get the powder and my hand lotion off. Very bad reaction.

What fell out was a picture, Polaroid photo. Still using the gloves, I flipped it over to see the front side. It was of Finn, one of the days of football practice. That made no sense to me, so I flipped it back.

DROP OUT

That still made no sense. Drop out of what? A little bit of explanation would be nice. I didn't throw it, instead deciding to keep it. It was a photo, and that was a little different than just words.

"Hey Kurt, you here?" Finn yelled from the front door. I got up from chemistry and walked to the hall to stop him from yelling again when I caught a look at his face. The beginnings of a black eye were evident, along with a split lip and a blood trail that he hadn't quite entirely wiped off. Finn saw me staring at the wounds and said, "Dude, much worse than it looks." But when he started moving upstairs, he cradled his midsection like that had been injured as well.

That wasn't from football. And I'm still not sure what they mean by drop out.

Written for a prompt over on Glee Angst Meme (glee_angst_meme at livejournal dot com, post number 3065 dot html with ?thread=3048441#t3048441 (make it into a url to get to the original prompt)) -

"There's a reason a brother is good leverage. You can never turn your back on family."

Based on the above quote someone takes Finn/Kurt to get the other to do something. Rival sports team want Finn to throw a game(seriously all the school's teams can't be bad right?), rival cheerleading squad wants Kurt to quit? up to anon.

This was my first little fill. And I have no idea why I did Kurt in first person, that's how I saw it, apparently.
