Kagami sighed, wandering into Konata's house, as the front door had been left open. It was unusual anymore for her to be invited over...yet here she was. Konata's house was no different than it was a few months ago, besides the fact all fans for the heatwaves summer had brought were put away. She slid her shoes off, dropping her bookbag and glancing around. The blue-haired girl was nowhere to be found. "Konata?" she called out, starting to wander into the house.

"In here!" came a faint response, sounding like it was coming from down the hallway to the left. Kagami wandered toward her voice, glancing around until she came to a door with a poster of Haruhi Suzumiya on it. She turned the handle, wandering in and blinking. The blue haired girl was sitting, scissors in hand, snipping locks of her hair off.

"K-Konata? What are you doing?" Kagami blinked, watching the other girl cut her hair to shoulder-length. She glanced up, though, taking a break from cutting her hair.

"Oh, hey, you actually came," Konata chuckled.

"Yeah...why exactly did you call me here?" Kagami blinked. Konata motioned to her hair.

"I'm having a hard time cutting all my hair off, and I wanted you to come over and help me even it out," Konata hummed, resuming cutting a bit of her hair off. Kagami sighed, leaning against the wall.

"You could have just went to a professional, you know," she mumbled. Konata nodded.

"Yeah, but I need money, and I prefer not to waste it on pointless things like haircuts," the blue-haired girl hummed. Kagami twitched a bit in response.

"Pointless things like haircuts?" she echoed. Konata nodded. "And what exactly are things that aren't pointless?"

"Buying manga," Konata shrugged, finishing cutting the large part of her hair off, holding the scissors up toward the pigtailed girl, causing her to flinch. "Can you help me now?"

Reluctantly, Kagami obliged and sat down next to Konata, taking the scissors from her and beginning to even out the rather sloppy job she had done. There was a long moment of silence before the front door was heard opening.

"Konata?"

"In here!"

After a moment, an older man wandered into the room, blinking. "Konata, you never told me your friend was coming over!" he exclaimed, voice more joyed than upset. Konata shrugged.

"I needed help cutting my hair," she sighed.

"When she could have just went to a professional," Kagami added.

The man laughed. "This should be a scenario in one of the games I play," he thought aloud, causing Kagami to squeak and blush.

"Daad~ I think you just upset Kagami~" Konata cooed, rocking back and forth now. After a moment, Kagami shot up, getting to her feet, face still red.

"Your hair is even, and I'm leaving now," she said quickly, shoving passed Konata's dad, quickly sliding her shoes on and grabbing her bag before running out the front door. Konata's dad blinked.

"...Was it something I said?"

I've finally written something again! 8D

And for Lucky Star, nonetheless. I don't believe I've ever done anything for Lucky Star.

Oh well, I might be writing for many different animes. I've been watching a lot of different ones lately.
