The exhibit had reopened for a few weeks prior when Steve first saw it. At the time, he was just reminiscing, looking at the reminders of his past, wondering what would happen with his future. For him, this was all recent history. It had just been a few years since he was pulled from the ice, so it was still so fresh.

As he walked through the exhibition, something was tickling at the back of his mind. Something, someone was missing.

"Captain Rogers, it's good of you to visit. What do you think of the exhibit?" A middle aged woman in a prim black suit spoke from just over Steve's shoulder.

Turning back to her, he motioned to a small bench in front of the Howlies' display. "I've noticed some additions," and Steve pointed to the portion dedicated to Bucky and what had happened to him.

The curator who had arranged the private showing was a little hesitant. "We were unsure of how much of Sgt Barnes' life to include. But we wanted to include the Winter Soldier to speak to the horrific plans Hydra had for the world." She stared at the new etchings showing the few images they had of Bucky before and after the fall.

Steve could see she was still conflicted and tried to set her mind at ease. "If it makes it easier for you, he was told about this and doesn't mind. In fact, he agreed that their acts needed to be told, so that others understand." He sighed and continued. "The museum was instrumental in bringing him back. It showed him that his memories were, in fact, real. That he had existed outside of Hydra, that he did have a family to go home to."

The woman nodded. "I'm glad then. Is there anything else you noticed? "

"Overall, it's very thorough. You've done a good job memorializing our guys." He paused here, not knowing how much he should mention.

"I sense a 'but' in that statement. "

"You've left someone out. " Steve knew this wasn't going to be a welcome statement since the exhibit had been on display for awhile now, but he had to say something.

The curator looked around. Each of the men had their own personal display. Stark, Carter, the Colonel all were mentioned. "Who? "

Steve laughed. "Angel." He could still feel the warmth of the coffee she found them in the winter. The comfort of the new socks after coming on out of the rain. The full bellies when so many were hungry. The times she stayed with Dum Dum when his wife died. Got Gabe a cigar when his sister had a baby.

"There were several references to that name in our interviews, but no one would explain. Who is Angel? There was no one in the unit records with that name." The woman sitting with him looked confused and dismayed they had missed something important.

"No ma'am, there wouldn't have been any record. Angel wasn't in the Army. She, well, rather detested the Army. But I've always thought it was really the war that she really hated.

"You see, it started in 1942 when her man was drafted."
