Naruto was at a loss for words. Not because he was stuck babysitting a bunch of kids. Not because Sakura totally ditched him to find Ino and mess with random people (although that did hurt). And definitely not because he went on a hopeless date the previous night and got literally nothing out of it. The guy was freaking hopeless, he had just gotten out of a bad breakup and was crying the whole time.

That's the last time he lets Sakura set him up with some loser.

But no, he wasn't at a loss of words for any of those reasons. But because these kids were hopeless. He takes them to a candy store (that also has crazy awesome desserts) and they only look at everything. Like what the hell? He doesn't have money, he expected them to steal something - save him the trouble.

He sighed and leaned against the counter. He glared at the twelve year old only reading a label of starburst and not trying to hide them in his big ass coat. Fucking hopeless.

"What's with all these well-behaved children? I'm trying to get them to steal candy and no ones taking any," Naruto didn't exactly whisper that and the cashier behind him let out an airy laugh. Naruto turned around to tell him to forget he heard that but he was stunned.

This guy is pretty as hell.

"Not the best influence are you?"

Naruto decided to not choke up and remember how to talk, "Yeah well, I never told their parents to leave them with me. I have a bit of a sweet tooth and no cash - they aren't even contemplating it."

The cashier grimaced, "I...don't like sweets."

And bd Naruto thought that was dumb because why do you work here? But then his mind flashed to that terrible date the previous night and he smiled, "Do you like spicy? I know this great Indian place."

I like it. Thank you for this prompt.
