Servant Chaos
The quite, serene afternoon was abruptly abolished with the crash of plates falling to the ground, the view of the now dead lawn in front of the estate, and from the smell of dinner being burnt to a crisp with a flamethrower.
Sebastian sighed and shook his head while surveying the chaos that ensued whenever the other servants of the household tried to do their jobs for once.
He pulled his pocket watch out of his breast pocket and looked at it. He had about thirty minutes before Master Ciel would want his evening meal. A crash somewhere else in the house made him look up in the direction it came from.
It seemed that they had moved on elsewhere to produce havoc. At that time, Ciel came down the stairs, looking very ornery.
"What's with all this racket, Sebastian?"
"Sorry, Master. The others have decided to try and do their jobs for once."
"Well, do something about it."
"Of course, Master. But might I suggest that you get back to your own job?"
Ciel tsked, looking away, "I was just about to go back. You didn't need to tell me."
"Of course, Master. My apologies."
Ciel made his way back up the stairs, blushing slightly with annoyance.
Sebastian walked towards the racket, frowning slightly as the screaming and commotion continued to rise in volume. He rounded the corner, where he discovered the three unruly servants currently trying to catch a bird that had somehow flown into the house.
Bard, his hair slightly singed from trying to cook dinner, was currently holding a cat up, who was desperately waving its paws in the air to catch the bird. The other two were waving around butterfly nets, hitting vases and other valuables off of their tables, turning them into worthless piles of broken pottery.
Quickly using one of the tables as a lift, Sebastian jumped into the air, grabbed the bird and landed back on the carpet, one knee touching the ground. Getting up, he calmly brushed the dust off of him and opened a window, letting the puzzled bird he held in his hand go.
He then turned back to the servant, smiling the way only he could, "I would advise you to stop all this nonsense and go clean up the disorder you caused."
"Y-yes, Sebastian!" They yelled in unison before scampering off in different directions, hopefully to something that wouldn't cause more grief for Sebastian.
Sebastian closed the window, and got his pocket watch back out. He frowned at what he saw. All of that had consumed ten minutes. He quickly returned the watch and walked back to the kitchen to cook Ciel's meal.
