CHAPTER 1
Lying in a dark room, Alone. A computer stands next to me with a "100% completion" Title Flashing Green across it. Across to my left, I heard a Heavy Screech, followed by loud footsteps. I got up, and headed for the wall, even though I couldn't see a possible exit. I felt a ridge in the wall, and pushed against It, a ridge that opened the way to a large corridor, filled with members of team Rocket trying to push a crowd of at least 500 people away from the exit. I went the opposite way to the crowd, to try and find what was causing this commotion. There was one guy, standing amidst a column of pokeballs, 20 of them to be exact. He was wearing a purple hoodie that made obvious the fact that he was not a member of team rocket. "Grab one", he said. "We are going to need these" our minds thought alike, we both had the same idea.
As we grabbed a Pokémon each, we headed for the exit. We needed these Pokémon, not because we were going to battle members of team Rocket, but because the Pokémon that lay beneath the tall grass of the wild were more dangerous, and deadly, than us humans.
Slowly, as the crowds pushed the team Rocket guards backwards towards the exit, we made a break. Me and my new friend Logan, who would turn out to be two of the greatest Pokémon trainers to challenge the world. New friends, or so we thought.
CHAPTER 2
As me and Logan ran through the tall grass, something grabbed our legs with a sharp grapple. "Logan, be careful. Last time I checked, Poochyena's do some serious damage to humans".
"Don't worry, I have my Pokémon to protect me" he said, trying to hold in the tears of pain that were being caused because of the relentless grip the Poochyena had on his leg.
And as he threw his pokeball, a sense of power was exerted upon me, and I threw my Pokémon onto the ground as well. "I never expected to see a Totodile and a Treecko battle together. At least our Pokémon are better then this sorry excuse for a Pokémon".
"Totodile, use scratch"I said, in my most believable Ash Ketchum voice. That was shortly followed by Logan screaming "TREECKO, USE POUND!". Poochyena was surely out for the count. Yet it still stood, injured though it was, it stood with a sense of dignity. So I threw a pokeball at it. We had stole some from that massive room that I got Totodile from. And like magic, I had a Poochyena.
While I caught Poochyena, Logan went to catch the more passive type of Pokémon, a Zigzagzoon, which just so happened to be carrying a Rare candy.
"I'm going to call my Totodile something… I know, Kappa! It's this underwater fish like animal off the coast of Japan. What about you Logan, what are you gonna call your Treecko?"
"Wait, how do you know my name is Logan? We only met 10 minutes ago, and I never told you my name".
"I don't know…" I said. But deep down, within the fading of our memories, we did know, we just didn't realise yet.
