Harry Potter was feeling sad, sitting in the chair in the ward of St Mungo's that he was in. The reason for his sadness was simple, he was sad because the person that he had fell in love with, the one who was true to his heart but had allowed to marry the person who was his worst enemy, all because of a betrothal contract to another, one that was made at his birth.
Despite being older than the woman that he was in love with, Harry had to admit that he had fallen for her at the Yule Ball, the dance with her at the TriWizard Tournament, the tournament that he had been forced into competing in.
Unlike her older siblings and cousins, the trio of them being in the same house as each other, she was one of the few that had believed the truth in Harry not entering himself into the Tournament, even refusing to wear the Potter Stinks badges that someone had made, the person who she had gone on to marry.
Harry remembered her appearance at the Yule ball and, despite the interference of Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, harry knew that he was in love with the woman who he had come to see as the person who would help him and his emotions in his fifth Year, and the destruction of his reputation and public image.
Sixth Year was hell for the couple, Harry having had asked the girl who he was in love with on a date to Hogsmeade in the middle of forth Year, much to her approval. The problem was that in Sixth Year, the couple were caught by Draco Malfoy and his two goons, with the revelation that Malfoy had to marry his girlfriend, and Harry had been put in a contract with her sister.
Pulling himself out of his thoughts, Harry turned to see his one true love take her last breath, having been stabbed on Platform 9 ¾ by the son that she had hated for years.
Eventually he left, knowing that as Head Auror he had to arrest Scorpius Malfoy for the murder of Astoria Greengrass, the name Malfoy having no meaning to him. But personally though, Harry wanted vengeance for the woman who he had almost married, had it not been for the contract to her sister.
