As a baby Liza was happy and bubbly, Rebekah and Luka's pride and joy. She was quite the energetic child, always running around the house and driving her mumma crazy. Luka loved to spoil her; after all she was his only daughter. They kept her safe from harm, from hunters, from over vampire seeking revenge. That is until they came; they broke into the house in the dead of the night and took little Liza, and Bekah's parents. Bekah and Luka searched frantically for them, and they found Bekah's parents, lying staked through the heart. Heartbroken they figured that had been the fate of their little girl as well. Little did they know, little Liza was going through hell; at only 5 they tortured her in any way imaginable. For five years, she was tortured as a human, beaten and bruised to no end. When she was 10 she tried to run away, to die to end all of it. Of course the girl failed, and they ended up turning her. She fought every step along the way, reluctant to be stuck at 10 forever, with them forever. They kept her for 300 years, 300 years of torture and rape, and all she could do was scream and cry, after all she knew nothing of the real world. One day, she got enough strength to stake them, all 5 of them. She had no energy after that, so she slept for a solid week. She went around, trying to find food, drinking animals dry, never attacking a single human unless it was nessacary. She went searching for her parents, in the old house, only to find them gone. Having no concept of time, she though it only had been a few years, she thought they abandoned her, that they didn't care. Soon though, she noticed how different things were, and figured out it had been a little over 300 years since she was taken. She spent over 1000 years searching for them, always missing them when she got close. Along the way though, she met Natalya, who knew nothing of Liza. Liza told her about her parents and her search, not mentioning names, Talya vowed to help her find them. About 200 years ago, When Bekah and Luka finally told Talya about Liza, she put two and two together. She was going to tell them Liza was fine… she just needed to find her first. It took 200 years to track the young girl. It just so happened that Liza had managed to track down Luka first. Natalya was over joyed, even though at the moment she wasn't very happy with Luka, she knew having Liza would make him happy. She brought Liza to Luka and Harley, not realizing Harley didn't know, of course once she realized Harley didn't know she was a bitch about it. Liza's happy to be back with her mum and dad, she loves her Ama, and Ian. She just wishes that Luka would understand her. She knows she's only 10, she's been that way for far over 1000 years. She wants him to understand that. She needs him to understand although physically she's 10, mentally and emotionally far older than that. She's gone through things no 10 year old should have to see. She wants him to understand that she didn't get a say in her transformation, that, she's aloud to date, after being around so long. She hate's that she didn't have a say, it hurts that he just doesn't get it! She knows she's just being emotional, but all she wanted was a chance to live. That's all. And now, she's forced to live all eternity, not allowed to do anything, because she's too young. And she hates it. She gets by though; she manages to stay bubbly, if she just doesn't think about it, ever. Kai helps her though, of course Luka would kill her for still seeing him, but hey, if she had to find her own father, then he can deal with her trying to live her life. She doesn't hold it against Luka and Bekah for not finding her first; after all they thought she was dead. She loves them more then anything, and she's happy to have her family with her, they make eternity at 10 worth it.
