What Fix-It-Felix lacked in height, he made up for in heart. The man was polite, forgiving, and very passionate. Especially about Tamora Jean Calhoun. It was about a year after the cybug incident, and their first kiss, and Felix and Calhoun saw each other every day, at the same time, after the arcade closed. Christmas was coming up, and with the arcade closed for a week, Felix, Tamora, Ralph, and Venellope were planning on celebrating at Felix's condo. But something was gnawing at fix-it, and he wasn't nearly as happy as he should be.
He decided it was best to get some advice, so he briskly walked next door to Ralph's house in East Niceland. He knocked on the door, and the larger man opened it.
"Hey Felix, what's up- " Ralph trailed off, concerned with Fix-It's worried face.
"Ralph, I need some advice!" Felix desperately stated. Ralph saw that he was almost in tears.
"Come in! Sit down!" The smaller man followed the wrecker into the over-size living room. Ralph sat back in his huge recliner, while Felix sat nervously on the edge of a footrest. "What's wrong?" Ralph asked gently, after a bit of awkward silence.
"It's Tamora…" Felix said quietly, with his head down. Ralph instantly was worried.
"Oh my god, is she ok?!" he asked.
"No, no, she's fine, it's just…" Felix met Ralph's expectant eyes. "I am going to ask her to marry me." His face turned a deep red color.
Ralph sat, staring at the smaller man for a couple of seconds, then spread his face into a wide grin.
"I'm so happy for you, man!" Ralph said, and Felix relaxed visibly.
"I just… she… and I… I love her and would do anything for her!" Fix-It said. Ralph got up, and Felix followed. They bid each other goodbye, and with a grin, Felix headed back to the apartment to get ready for the night's party, and his big surprise.
