Cake

"Gil? What are you doing?" Matthew asked.

The kitchen was a mess and had ingredients splattered everywhere.

"Ah Birdie!" Gilbert jumped in surprise. "I wanted to make you a cake," he mumbled.

"Why?" Matthew frowned in confusion.

"For you..."

Matthew smiled and kissed his boyfriend's cheek.

Blue

Everyday, Gilbert woke up to lovely dark blue eyes smiling cutely at him. Every night, those same blue eyes bid him sweet dreams. He often wonders how empty his life would by without those blue eyes in his life. He thanks God he never has to find out.

Smol

Matthew loved many things about Gilbert. He loved how Gilbert always gave him cute nicknames. He loved how Gilbert fussed over him and protected him. He also loved how he was just slightly smaller than Gilbert. He loved to hold it over Matthew.

Brick

"Brick brick brick brick..." Gilbert hummed under his breath.

Matthew screamed into a pillow. Damn America and his catchy show tunes! Gilbert had been singing that song for an entire week straight.

Glasses

"Gil? Have you seen my glasses?" Matthew yelled as he wandered around the house. He felt around the couch and stumbled onto a recently woken Gilbert.

"Birdie," Gilbert mumbled. He reached up and plucked the glasses off Matthew's head, "You need a haircut," and slid them onto his boyfriend's flushed face. "and to make me some pancakes."

"Okay!" Matthew realized he was straddling Gilbert and immediately leaped off him and ran to the kitchen.

America

"Its so hot here! Why are we in Texas?" Gilbert whined.

"Al invited us and its rude to refuse." Matthew explained for the nth time as they waited for Al to arrive.

"Alaska's colder. Why didn't we go there?"

"Ask Al."

"He's unawesome."

"Yeah."

Song

The radio started playing 'Can't Stand It' by Never Shout Never.

"Birdie! Its our song!" Gilbert yelled and pulled Matthew up from his seat.

"O-okay." Matthew was adorably flustered but he danced along with his boyfriend.

"Baby I love you, I never wanna let you go. The more I think about it , the more I want to let you know that everything you do, is super fucking cute and I can't stand it~" Gilbert sang along to the song loudly.

Matthew blushed as red as Gilbert's eyes and shut him up by kissing him on the lips softly.

Alphabet

C was for 'Canada' which was the country Matthew represented . U was for 'utter patience' which Matthew was made out of to be able to deal with Alfred. T was for his 'text reminders' to himself as he often forgot things. E was for 'extremely agitated' which Matthew became when hockey was involved. Cute was the word which described his boyfriend Matthew Williams perfectly.

Ill

Curled up on his lap, cheeks flushed from his fever, Gilbert decided that his Birdie was still cute even when he was sick.

Maple Syrup

"Gil, where did you put the maple syrup?"

"We ran out."

"Well how do you expect us to eat pancakes without maple syrup?"

And that was how Gilbert found himself trudging through snow at 6 in the morning to get more maple syrup.
