Karofsky's turn
It was prom night. A boy big and firm, he was wearing a suit with a red tie, his name David Karofsky. David or Dave had just been named Prom King and he couldn't be happier. Then The Prom Queen was chosen. Kurt Hummel. Dave couldn't believe it, the boy he liked for years now. Prom Queen HIS prom Queen. Part of him was happy an other part was sad because he knew that it was a cruel Joke, Kurt being named Prom Queen. Dave watched as Kurt run out of the gym with his boyfriend running after him. Blaine Anderson, Karofsky didn't like Blaine. He -took- Kurt from him. More people left. Everyone was talking and whispering about what just happend. Dave sat down in the throne hoping that Kurt was okay. Then everyone was quiet again. Kurt came walking in again. Dave watched him as he got on stage. Blaine was nowhere to be found. '' Eat you heart out Kate Middleton'' Kurt said with a smile. Dave was proud, proud of this boy who didn't care of what others thought of him. Kurt had the confidence he didn't had. It was time for the Prom King and Queen dance. Differant dialogues about how this was gonna turn out popped up in Dave's head. Then the boy he loved spoke. '' This is your chance..'' he whispered. Dave didn't understand. '' What?'' he looked at Kurt, not sure what he meant. '' Come out.'' Kurt looking at Dave. The music was about to start. Dave wanted to take Kurt's hand and never let go, but he couldn't. What would people think of him?. '' I can't..'' Dave said with torture in his voice and it was -torture-, he wanted to be with Kurt so bad, but he is too afraid for the consequences. Dave walked away leaving the one he loves behind. Dave walked towards the lockers, he wanted to slam his head against it, instead he punched the locker with his fist. It hurt, but the pain he was feeling in his heart hurt more, more then anything else. A tear formed in his eye, he hated himself, he hated what he did to Kurt, he hated what he did to all the people who felt less then perfect, all the outsiders he tortured because he wanted them to feel more worse then he did,but Kurt.. Kurt was the one he tortured the most, pushing him against lockers, treating to kill him. How could he ever have done that to the person he loved? was it because he was afraid of having feelings for Kurt, feelings that he now knows of are not wrong, feelings that couldn't be broken by anyone. He felt said knowing that Kurt probably never come near him ever again, that he had driven the one he loved away because he was affraid. But the opposit happend, Kurt forgave him and became his friend. It gave him hope that maybe some day Kurt would choose him, that some day it would be Karofsky's turn..
