Tori's always been a fan giving and receiving hugs. They make her feel better and it helps others feel better too. So it's only natural that she'd offer a hug to her dear friend Beck after hearing of his unusually rough morning. Unfortunately, Jade isn't so enthusiastic about such things.

"What are you doing?"

Tori immediately backs away, thinking Jade's upset that she's touching what the girl perceives as something that only belongs to her. When she sees the glare that Jade is shooting her way, she fears that this attempted hug may be her last.

Beck rolls his eyes and raises his hands up to his chest in mock surrender. He'd almost forgotten how possessive the black clad girl could be when it came to him. But when he notices the lack of real anger in Jade's glare, he wonders if the girl is truly angry or just trying to mess with Tori.

'She looks more like a stern yet disappointed mom than a jealous ex-girlfriend..'

After a second or two of staring at Tori, Jade turns her gaze towards him, and Beck sees her eyes fill with the genuine irritation they were lacking just seconds ago.

'Ah, now she looks like a jealous ex-girlfriend.'

The sudden change in her demeanor upon looking at him makes him briefly wonder if Jade was even being possessive of him in the first place.

The bell rings, snapping the trio out of their train of thoughts, and both Beck and Tori give the frowning girl a small smile, though Tori's smile looks more apologetic than friendly, making Jade's frown deepen a bit. The pair walk together to their class, unknowingly thinking the same thing.

'Why was she mad at me?'

Jade watches the pair leave and loudly huffs before stomping towards her own class.

"Stupid Beck."
