Chapter 1

"SPACE PIRATE VESSEL DETECTED"

"Zzzz..." Samus was sleeping when the alarm went off, she hated the long trips through hyperspace. Even with technology now allowing a billion times light speed travel, some places in the universe still take days, even months to get to. Samus was on earth at the time when the order came. The legends sector is a 3 day travel from earth normally, but Samus's ship was having minor engine problems after being shot down over area 51 on earth.

"SPACE PIRATE VESSEL DETECTED"

"Zzzz..." Samus was still asleep

"WAKE THE HELL UP SAMUS!!" said the ships artificial intelligence.

"What! Huh? Oh, what do you want Atom?' said Samus.

"Space pirates." said Atom.

Samus looked out the window and saw a massive space pirate carrier ship, accompanied by an entire squadron of space pirate fighters.

"The fighter ships are new." said samus

"They've been accompanying big ships with fighters ever since the federation started raiding them," said Atom "a big ship is virtually defenseless against a small ship like me,"

"Heh, well, shall we engage them?" asked Samus

"Well, takeing the number of fighters, and the weapons they have equipted, ant the weapons we have to use against them, we have a 92 chance at victory." said Atom.

"Then lets engage the enemy then!!" said a surprisingly cheerful samus.

" you love killing pirates don't you?" said Atom, but samus wasnt listening, she was too busy arming the plasma cannons.
