A/N: This is dedicated to The Great Truish, who A) has been waiting for something WufeiXSally that I keep promising, and B) talked with me about how I should go about this one-shot. Thank you, Truish, for all your advice, debates about what Sally could possibly say, and putting up with me in general. You're a great friend and wonderful to debate ideas with. I wouldn't have this one-shot without you. EDIT: This is the rewrite with suggestions from the great Truish. Thank you, again, Truish.

Disclaimer: I don't own Gundam Wing or make any profit from this. Please don't sue me, I have nothing anyway.

It was a Saturday, and Sally was just pulling the car onto the highway when she popped the question.

No, not that question.

"What do you think of kids, Wufei?" Sally asked as she sped up to pass a semi. There was no escaping now, and Wufei knew it. He was trapped in a moving vehicle, being forced to talk about children.

Wufei didn't say anything at first, not when he was still hoping that Sally could be deterred from this conversation. With any luck she would give up and it would be over for a while.

"Isn't Heero and Relena's baby boy adorable?" Sally didn't look at him; she was focused on the road. She was clearly keeping an eye on the speedometer as well, and Wufei sighed.

"Whatever." He leaned his elbow on the car door and set his chin in his hand.

Sally smiled slightly, evidently pleased to have gotten an answer, even one as bland as that. She got like this whenever Wufei let her think she was winning when she wanted a conversation about a topic he didn't like.

Silence ensued for a couple seconds, and then Sally went on. "Kids are so precious and innocent, don't you agree?"

"Hm." Wufei pressed the button to roll his window down, hoping he could drown her out with the passing air, but Sally had locked the windows. Damned woman. Maybe she was winning...

"I wonder what he'll be like when he gets older." Sally mused. "If he'll grow up to be more like his Mother or his Father... hm..."

Wufei refused to respond to that one. He was not going to think about the Yuy spawn growing up to be like either Relena or Heero. Instead he reached over and began changing the presets on Sally's radio in an attempt to distract her just enough to make her stop talking.

"No." Sally pressed the button to turn off the radio, and Wufei was left in a very quiet car, with a baby-obsessed woman.

Not. Good.

"He looks so much like Relena, but he could grow up to look more like Heero." Sally paused, giving her boyfriend a glance and a smile that made Wufei think about how evil she was being.

"Uh huh." Wufei glanced back out the window. Sally didn't usually act like this unless she wanted something. He just hoped like hell it wasn't a baby of their own. Wufei was too young to be thinking about that yet.

"You held the baby, didn't you?" Sally asked, staring straight ahead. "Isn't it nice how he smiles and looks up at you with those eyes? Did you know that your eyes are the same size from birth? See-"

"Do you want a baby that badly, woman?" Wufei yelped when he couldn't contain it anymore.

"Wufei." Sally chastised, speeding up again to pass another car. "I don't want a baby of my own yet. I just wanted to know if we could babysit for Heero and Relena sometime."

Wufei felt his face go pink and he took a deep breath.

"Well, I know where your mind is." Sally teased. "You really do have a soft spot for children, don't you?"

She was never going to let that go, he could tell. Even if it caused injury, jumping out the car door was looking pretty damn good to Wufei now.

A/N: How do you guys like the edit? It is a little bit thicker, but I like it better. Once again, thanks goes to Truish for suggestions and talking about this with me. You're awesome, Truish!
