Kate Beckett had recently broken up with one Dr Joshua Davidson after she found out he had hit Castle, blamed him for her being shot and pushed Alexis. Although she didn't really rue the day she told the doctor it was over, the wounds were still open like with any breakup. She had called Lanie and told her but all Lanie said was 'Oh my gosh girl FINALLY'
That was 3 weeks ago. Now? Now she is trying to decide what to wear to meet Castle for coffee, she ended up choosing the new white blouse she had bought when her and Lanie had gone shopping a few days ago, it had pearl buttons and it showed off a fair bit of cleavage, her blue jeans she'd had since she was 18, they were literally the most comfortable things on the planet! And her black 8 inch stilettos she hadn't worn since before Josh, when she put them on Josh always whined about it because she was taller than him she just guessed it was easier to not wear them than to wear them and then have to change them to shut him up. Next was hair and makeup which she did rather quickly, only putting her usual eye makeup on and tying her hair up in a messy bun at the top of her head. It was a nice day so she decided to walk to the coffee shop that was only a few blocks from her apartment, grabbing her iPhone, earphones, keys, wallet, badge and gun (you never know when they will come in handy) she walked out the door. Stepping out of the lobby in her building and putting her favourite song 'Always' by Panama on and starting the quick walk to the coffee shop in the warm spring air.
A/N #2 cliffhanger I know and sorry for the mistakes if there are any... And yes Tabby it is supposes to say 'rue' haha
