"Josephina! Make sure you call me at around 9:00 and don't leave your bike outside!"

"Alright Mum!"

Josephina 'Joey' Harper was a fifteen year old unique young girl who was about to sneak off into the woods to find the secret treasure her great grandmother spoke of, she used to excuse of "Me and Courtney are having a movie night" to be able to stay at the woods till one in the morning.

In her bag she packed a water bottle, a bottle of water, some chocolate coated marshmallows, cucumbers and dips (for dinner), an extra scarf, a tazer (in case things get bad), a torch, her camera, notepad and some pens.

Before leaving, she specifically remembered to re-dye her hair. Every month she dies her side bangs yellow and the bottom quarter of her hair red; the rest remains black.

Joey's great grandmother told her the stories of her childhood and how her best friend Yuugi Mouto discovered the various mystical millennium items and how she hid them in the woods so it wouldn't get in the wrong hands. They all had a special symbol or a marking on them and they held great power. Her great grandmother said they held great evil and so she hid them away before anybody found them. They also made a cursed labyrinth so if anybody did happen to stumble upon them, it wouldn't be as easy.

Joey knew she had to find them, her great grandmother deemed them to her. Joey wasn't stupid enough to just waltz in and let the millennium item take her soul, she was simply curious and she wanted to see them. She wasn't going to take them out of their original place in the woods, she was just going to look at them, note them and maybe replace the box.

The items were the necklace, the puzzle, the ring, the rod, the eye, the scale and the key; they were all attributed as well.

Joey was told about all the abilities of the so called "Millennium treasures" and frankly enough, she knew that in the wrong hands there could be major consequences.

"Bye Mum!"

Joey ran out of the house excitedly. She was eager to see the millennium items her great grandmother hid away seventy-two years ago. She quickly grabbed her bike, clipped her helmet and rode off.
