Chapter 1
Bella's POV:
I woke up, hearing worried voices. Where was I? Most of all... What's going on?! I tried to open my eyes, I struggled to adjust my eyes to the bright light, I tossed trying to find somewhere where it wasn't so bright.
The voices came to a still, I heard a pure voice say, "Isabella". I tried in vainest to nod but I was blocked with a scratchy, hard block. I raised a hand up to figure out what it was, the pure voices called out again filled with worry, "DON'T, please Isabella y-"
"Bella" I corrected, I was shocked from my voice. It sounded like I hadn't used it in years, it was raw, and hoarse and pained me to speak.
The angel seemed to understand and said "Is- Bella, don't speak have some water. Here. Can you open your eyes?"
I grimaced and adjusted my eyes to the bright lights.
What I saw shocked me, the angel was there, his beauty shocked me. He was so... perfect. He smiled at me and whispered "you okay?"
I smiled and gave a thumbs up, "drink some more water" he smiled giving me another water bottle since I had finished the last one. I smiled and happily grabbed the water bottle from his hands and drowned it.
"I'm sorry but, who are you?" I whispered
He laughed "I'm the one sorry, you are probably very confused"
I nodded slowly "Yeah" I mumbled
"I'm Edward" he said while reaching out to shake my hand. I raised my hand and gasp at the sight, my hand and half my arm is covered in a hard cast.
"wha- what happened" I said my voice shaking with disbelieve.
"you got in an accident" he explained
" What happened, where, what kind, where a-" I questioned frantically
"whoa whoa there tiger one question at a time" he chuckled
"sor-" I started
"im kidding, don't apologize" he murmured
"well what happened was a car slammed into yours, it was on your way home from shopping, as you might of guessed it was a car crash and you are in a hospital" He ticked of each question on him fingers.
"satisfied?" he chuckled
"yeah tha-" I laughed
"ah Isabella, you're awake at last" he cold voice spoke as a man in a lab coat approached me.
I nodded.
"Edward you may leave"
Edward, that was my angels voice, all I could think was how it suited him, I lost myself for a couple minutes daydreaming.
The man's cold voice snapped me out of my daydreams, "goodbye Edward" I smiled as the tall young man smiled back to me "bye Bella" he said.
He reached the frame of the door.
"Edward" I called, He turned and nodded.
"please come back" I whispered
"I will" he said
"promise" I questioned
"I promise" he assured me.
