Input of One Girl

Summary: An excerpt in Suzumiya Haruhi's journal regarding her future plans with her brigade after meeting Gokudera Hayato. Related to Kindered Spirits

Well I have met with interesting people today! I'm so glad I asked Kyon to do this excursion of ours to search for the mysteries of the world. I know that Kyon and the others are hiding something from me but I would find out. I, Suzumiya Haruhi, would stop at nothing to find out what they are planning!

Back to my topic, I met an interesting guy named Gokudera Hayato. He looks pretty much a delinquent with his clothes, assorted rings on his fingers, silver hair and glaring green eyes. Imagine my gladness when he started talking about his interest with UMAs and the extraterrestrials! He was so smart that Izuki-kun was able to hold conversation with him and even Yuki-chan was interested… a bit as Kyon was looking baffled. I couldn't blame him though. And you know what? Gokudera-kun was a real genius! He was offered a spot in NASA but he declined; He kept saying that serving his Jyudaime was his life.

It was a curious thing. Gokudera-kun's eyes were really interested in finding out the mysteries of the world but I saw him looking determined and loyal when he spoke of this Jyudaime of his. It reminds me of the loyalty of the old Japanese to the Emperor.

Speaking of this Jyudaime, his name was Sawada Tsunayoshi. He was plain-looking and mild-tempered but he acted so mature and his eyes were looking at you as if he could read you! To be honest, he was a bit intimidating and comforting at the same time. I don't know why though. Maybe it's because of the eyes? They were warm brown then glowing amber the next then back to brown. I guess it was a trick in the light as what Kyon told me though he looked a bit distured when I mentioned that Sawada-kun might be an esper.

I suspect that Gokudera-kun and Sawada-kun are somewhat connected to some orgaization. I mean they have the amused or knowing look when I talked about aliens, espers and tiome travellers- especially when I talked time travelers! Maybe they really do belong in one. Maybe the Mafia? Some hidden government agency? I don't know but I'm pretty sure they belong in one.

Then I made my decision as president of the SOS Brigade that our responsibilies of kowing more about the supernatural would not be until we completed schooling. I would make sure that we would be known through out the world. I would also try to look for Gokudera-kun and Sawada-kun since they seem to know a lot.

P.S.

Interogate Mikuru-chan since she seemed familiar with the two and vice versa even if they claimed to only meet a while ago.
