PROLOGUE
A girl, with a height of 5 feet 2 inches sauntered towards the grand entrance of her college with trembling hands holding her sling bag. She was absent for three days from college and she couldn't afford to lose another day. After all, she was Mikan Sakura, the girl who won the best attendance for three years consecutively during high school. However, for now she didn't care about her perfect attendance anymore for she was already tired of it.
Her brown eyes showed an emotion of uncertainty as she walked towards her locker which was situated not far from the main entrance. She could hear murmurings all around her and she knew they were talking about her. She held her bag tighter and she could feel tears forming on her eyes.
She thought she was ready to face the reality as it had been already months since that particular incident that tore apart her life. But as they said, broken heart couldn't be healed within months. She had tried everything! From cutting her hair short, yelling from the top of her lungs on a cliff, getting drunk and so on. But why couldn't she move on?
She even took 3 days off school to help her release some stress, but it didn't help much.
They said time would heal wounds. But when would her wound heal? She couldn't cope with this situation anymore. But, everytime she said she couldn't handle this anymore, there was a voice coming from her head telling this would be over soon.
Why? Why? Why?
That question had been running in her head, driving her mad.
Why did they leave her?
Wasn't she enough?
Why didn't they trust her?
Did she look like a cunning liar?
And…. Why did he do that?
Truth be told she was so tired to think about it. She got no one by her side. She didn't have someone to stand up for her.
Why couldn't she just accept the fact that she had lost?
"I heard that she actually shove Luna down the stairs"
"Ewww she still has the courage to come? If it was me, I would definitely quit college. I mean it is very embarrassing for me to come to college."
"She's just jealous that Natsume is giving his childhood friend more attention. I mean they finally met after years of separation and helloo? Who the hell she thinks she is to shove Luna off the stairs. Such a whore."
She felt her ears getting hot after hearing that sentence. Her breaths deepened and she clutch the door of her locker tightly.
STOP.
"I bet she was just a replacement for Natsume and the gang. I mean who would ever want to be friends with her?"
STOP.
"Luna is so nice you know? She didn't take action against that whore. If it were me, I would definitely drag her to police station"
STOP.
STOP.
STOP.
Who were they to judge her? They didn't know anything. All they knew was to spread and believed stories that were never true to begin with.
And it hurt her. But she didn't have a say in this. After all, in everyone's eyes she was a scum that wasn't needed by everyone. But don't you worry, She was Mikan Sakura. And she would do everything to bring justice to herself, even if she died in the process of doing it.
