Toshiro

I know it. One day they'll take her. Take her far away from me. But yet she'll be so near. There's nothing I could do. It's part of life. She'll wind up on the other side of that giant stone wall that separates us from the nonliving of this world. The one thing I didn't know though is that they would send me to take her towards our world. Shaking his head Toshiro went back to work shaking his head of his awful premonition. Not yet that girl, Karin was barely in high school now.

Toshiro glanced down at the picture of the girl. Her smile was amazingly genuine not something you would find somewhere within soul society. He couldn't help but let a smile slip on his lips in the middle of the work. It was hard work for all of them to get the soccer championships. He almost didn't make it that day. A hollow was stalking Karin so he dealt with it as soon as possible. At first he was planning on surprising her after they had won. But that had all changed when her team obviously panicked at a double-injury before he could think about it he found himself in the soccer team's uniform out in the field.

Right after that they had taken a team picture, that picture was now sitting upon his desk in plain sight as he worked. Well only when he was there, he couldn't have any random visitor stealing it. "You go through too much to hide a picture." his lieutenant laughed as he locked it away. Toshiro glanced away. Maybe he would visit Karin sometime soon. That premonition was actually quite ominous. "That's none of your business Matsumoto." Toshiro sighed back to the overly curious woman who rolled her eyes. "I think Captain has a crush!" Matsumoto teased. As Toshiro stepped out of his office. A voice echoing in his head: "That's mine! You step away!" faintly whispering of the war to come when he goes back for the teenage girl. He wouldn't let the soul society separate her from him. He didn't know their cruelties. The coldness that echoed through some of the people in power by then. He didn't know he would be the one sent to get her from the world that she loved so much.

He didn't know how much he truly loved her.
