Screaming, the sound of gunshots and fists on scales, the smell of death, blood everywhere. Humans yelling in fear and hatred. A green scaled body crawls slowly out of the rubble, dazed and confused.
Blink. Red.
Blink. Blood.
Her vision cleared and she saw the full scale of the mayhem and destruction around her, there was blood everywhere, death all over. Her sisters, every one of them, lying lifeless on the ground.
Clear vision blurs into red. Red from fury. From hatred. What right did they have? What right to kill her sisters, destroy her home? Her talons ripped through flesh, who's flesh she didn't care, as long as it was human. She would destroy every one of these filthy apes that murdered her family in cold blood. Rip them limb from limb. Even that girl over there. That match girl standing alone. Even she would die. Limbs flew, heads came off of body's. after the rest were done, she turned to the girl, grinning, this should be fun.
"Ma'am?" Jenny shook her mistress, the Silurian whimpered, then snarled, then curled up in a tight ball. "Ma'am? Are you alright?" Vastra's eyes flung open, her arms thrashed around, trying to find something to ground her to reality. She clung to her maids shirt, pulling jenny close to her in a hug of sorts. "Jenny, my Jenny. My Jenny." She was shaking, holding tightly to the human beside her. "Jenny I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Vastra burst into tears, sobs wracking her body. Jenny pulled her closer, rubbing her back gently.
Jenny sat up, vastra was sitting beside her, head in her hands, still sniffling but the worst was over. "I… I can't believe I… No. No way. Not my Jenny. No." Vastra said between sniffles. She looked up at her maid, her eyes wet with tears. "Jenny… He never came. The Doctor never came. I… I killed you, Jenny. I… No." She took a deep breath, her body shaking. Jenny tilted her head to the side. "Did you have a nightmare, ma'am?" Vastra nodded slowly. "Yes Jenny. I could never.. Would never. No. You are my Jenny." Jenny pulled her mistress closer. "I know." Vastra sighed. " because I… I love you, Jenny flint. I… I love you." Jenny smiled, thinking vastra was just tired. "I love you too ma'am" vastra leaned up and kisses jenny softly. "I Really love you."
