This was the second day that I was late to work, courtesy of my ex-boyfriend Mike. He showed up just as I was leaving for work, wanting to get back together. After the unanswered phone calls you would think he would get the hint obviously not.
The night before I went on the WORST blind date ever! I was set up with my hairdressers brother, whom she promised me was sexy, educated, and funny. Which turned to be a loser whom was just released from prison the month before.
I sprinted into the bank in which I worked, which is extremely hard to do in five inch heels. Once I'd clocked in and was situated I took a deep breath and tried to unsuccessfully to smooth the wrinkles out of my white button down. I could feel my friends eyes glaring at me to the left.
"I'm waiting on details, Saadia," quipped Cassie.
Slowly I turned to and gave her distinct details including how he wanted to take me to bed after the horrendous date.
"See that's why you never go on a blind date," she shook her head, "you need a guy like that."
Turning my head and there was the sexiest man I had ever seen. I'd seen him at the bank on several occasions. He was tall enough to be a basketball player, and he obviously worked out. He had ruggedly handsome face, smooth tan skin, intricate tattoos adorned his arms, and wore his shaved to the scalp. He looked about my age and always walked like a man of power. Yes, he was the kind of guy I needed in my life, but a man that fine couldn't be single.
"When are you going to say something to him?" Cassie inquired proddng me with her elbow, "Your always staring at him."
"I'm not about to make a fool out of myself, Cass. That man is surely married, shacking up, or at the very least dating seriously."
"Maybe he is maybe he isn't, there is only one way to find out."
I glanced at the teller booths one more time. I dreaded the moment he'd walk out the door. He was so darn sexy.
"You want me to go over there and get him for you? I can tell him you need a moment of his time?"
"Cass you do that and I will never forgive you ," I stated vehemently. " I refuse to throw my self at the customers of this bank."
"Whatever Saadia." Cassie returned to her desk. "You know your interested you never know when it will be the last time he walks in her.
He finished up his banking a few minutes later. When he walked past me, even though he was a good ten feet away I could away I could smell his cologne. My heart almost jumped out of my chest and I could feel my panties moisten. How could a man I knew nothing about have an effect on my? Yes, a man like that was definitely taken!
