Year is 2002
CHAPTER ONE
Robin was sitting there reading to her children and she wished Jason was there to see them and read travel books to them. She had been thinking about returning to Port Charles to raise her son and daughter with family, her friends, Luke, The Quartermaine's and everyone else she missed. She missed Jason every day, her Jason that is not the one he turned into under Carly's influence. She missed Jason because she still was in love with him. She wanted him back in her life and the only way to do that was to go back to Port Charles. She had tried to tell Jason that she was pregnant but Carly answered the phone and told her that she and Jason had just had sex and that she wasn't to call again, but Robin did call again and every time she did she got Carly so she gave up.
Robin went back for the Nurse's Ball in 2000 to tell him but he was gone. Yes, maybe it is time to go home it's been three years since the night on the bridge when he said the words that devastated her. It will be easier when you're gone and I never have to see your face again.
Robin wanted what they had before Carly had come home from Ferncliff and wrecked their relationship, Carly had won and now she was going to lose if Robin had anything to say about it, this time she was not going to sit and take it lying down. She had enough of Carly Roberts Corinthos to last a lifetime and beyond. She wasn't going to let Carly be near her children, she didn't want such a bad influence near them. Jason would have to understand that or he wouldn't be allowed to take them anywhere that she wasn't.
Jason was in for a shock, he didn't know she was pregnant when she left. She had just found out the day Jason told her he was moving in with Carly and Michael. She didn't want to use her pregnancy to get what she wanted so she didn't tell him then but she intended to later. The day she told AJ the truth she went to the Penthouse and told Jason that she told AJ and she was going to tell Jason then but he left and went to Carly and he had Sonny remove her from the penthouse and wouldn't listen to her as to why she did it. At the bridge he told her it would be easier if he never saw her face again. So she didn't tell him then either not after that.
Alan knew she was pregnant he ran the test. Jason hadn't even realized that Robin was getting sick because he was never there he was with Carly and Michael so he didn't know that she thought her HIV had progressed to AIDS. But she found out she was pregnant and six months after she left she had a C Section done and she had twins a boy and a girl. They both had Jason's blue eyes which she was glad of. She could see Jason in so many things they would do.
She decided now would be the time to go back to Port Charles and face her past and Jason, she would let her job know tomorrow that she would be leaving and her school also. She would go out and tell her mother now. Anna had been staying with Robin for the last few months. Hopefully Anna would want to go to Port Charles too. She could sure use the moral support especially since no one in Port Charles except Luke know that she had children. She would be returning home to tell Jason and hopefully they would end up together again.
She and the kids would have to be top priority to Jason or this would never work. She was not about to take crumbs like she did before. She read to her children until they fell asleep and then she went to find Anna.
Anna was in the kitchen and Robin went in and told her mother that they needed to talk. Anna was all ears she said.
"I've made a decision I am taking the kids back to Port Charles and it's not for a visit I am moving them back there. I would like it if you would come with us. It's time for me and my children to go home. What do you say, will you come with me to Port Charles?"
"Big decision. Are you sure this is what you want, to go home to Port Charles?"
"Yes Mom it's time, I have been thinking of going for a while now and it's time that Jason, Mac and everyone else meet the kids. Mac is going to be hurt that I didn't tell him, I know that but I had my reasons. I hope he understands even though he is going to be hurt. I can't keep hiding out here in Paris, I have to go home to Port Charles. I have to see Jason and let him know his children, I never intended for him not to know them."
"I know you didn't intend to keep Jason from his children. I know you sent letters to him that was sent back and called and only got that tramp Carly. I knew you would want to go to Port Charles and tell Jason about his children. I was just waiting for you to decide when to go. I will go with you to Port Charles and help you there with the children like I do here. I am ready to go home too and Port Charles is home."
"Yes it is, Mom, I am telling my work I quit tomorrow and telling school that I want everything transferred to P.C.U. and I will finish my classes there and I think I am going to get a job with either ELQ or Jacks I think with my work history that I will be hired and not because they are friends of mine."
"You are not going to try to convince your work that you can do it through fax, internet but you are going to quit. You have made a name for yourself in the business world so I am sure you will be hired on merit even if they are your friends."
"I hope so I don't want any favors. I am going to start packing in the morning and while I am out quitting my job and telling the school I will get some boxes to pack our stuff in."
"Good idea."
"I am tired I am going to bed after I take my protocol. I would like it if the kids could stay with you while I am out instead of calling the babysitter, is that alright with you?"
"Of course it is I love spending time with my grandbabies. You go to bed and get a good night's sleep and I will get up with the kids and feed them and read to them and play with them. You just worry about telling your job and school and getting us some boxes to pack in."
"Thanks, Mom, I will tell you goodnight now. I have to go to bed." Robin hugs her mother and goes down the hall to her room after she takes her protocol.
