Just weeks after the battle of Tenin, Jocelyn amassed a force of 1,000 cruisers, 500 transport craft, 100,000 soldiers, and 20,000 fighter and bombers, along with a army of 5000 tanks. It headed straight for the capital of Alpha Centauri. The Centaurian government approved a massive strike on the fleet. By the time the fleet was amassed, it was too late. The economic capital of Alpha Centauri, Beesoonturg, was conquered within 3 days of fighting. The Centaurian planetary garrison retreated to its moon. There they set up a moon base with a "Laser." With that "Laser" they would destroy 1 garrison per hour until they retreat. (A little Austin Powers humor.) They never retreated and the moon base was conquered. Now a major rescue operation was planned to rescue the 100,000 prisoners taken by Jocelyn.
Operation Certain Death
The rescue operation was a deception operation. A distraction fleet and ground troops would invade part of the planet. A small rescue team of 1000 soldiers would take stealth ships to the surface. Two weeks in advance 20 special forces sniper were sent to the jungle surrounding the prison. Just before the ships came into view the snipers would kill every single guard in the towers, walls, and bunkers. They were instructed to shoot each twice: once in the chest and once in the head. This operation was named Certain Death because of the 20,000 troops at the prison. It was 1012 Special Forces soldiers from the Centaurian First Special Operations Detachment, codenamed Delta Force. The pant to invade the prison was simple: after the snipers killed guards, the Delta Force (a.k.a. D-Boys,) would tight-rope into the administration and guard control center. From there, they would kill or capture all guards in the area. Then they would proceed to the cell blocks and give the captured soldiers weapons to defend themselves against the remaining guards. After that was completed, they would load the prisoners to onto cramped transports. Then they would return to freedom.
Operation Urgent Justice
On May 15, 2007, 1 day less than a month since the Battle of Tenin, The entire Centaurian Offensive Fleet blockaded Beesoonturg. The elite Centaurian 1st Army of Alpha Centauri invaded the planet. After a week of fighting the last shots were fired, thus the Battle of Beesoonturg, the largest battle of the war was over.
Operation Overlord- Planning
Migdar and Alpha Centauri finally decided at G4 (the meeting of the 4 nations, the same as the real G8 convention) that the war must end before May 25, 2007, 1 week later. The plan was a massive invasion from Alpha Centauri and Midgar with a diversionary attack from the trade nation called the Republic of the Sword, ruled by Dylan. The Offensive Fleets form Alpha Centauri would spearhead the attack, closely followed by the Midgar Fleet of Heartless and Nobodies. They would take the outer planets while Dylan attacks the center. After the outer worlds were conquered, Dylan would pull back and Centauri and Midgar would go directly to the center planet and work their way out. Just 3 days before the invasion it was codenamed Operation Demon Lord.
Execution
All plans were completed on schedule and the war ended on May 25, with the surrendering of Jocelyn on Will's flagship, Dixie. 20 planets were destroyed by death stars and IGBM's. Estimated deaths were in the billions over the entirety of the war.
