"Kyle Trager. It is nice to know that he has our last name that now any doubt he is a Trager is gone. He is my brother now. I remember when he first came to live with us. He didn't know anything. He couldn't talk. He couldn't understand you at all. He was weird. I mean, I never thought he was an alien like my brother Josh, but still… Now, Kyle has matured. He went from being like a newborn child to being a teenager. I'm extremely happy that my mom brought Kyle home and I regret ever challenging her judgment. At first I didn't really like him, I thought he was just some freaky kid with amnesia but now Kyle is my friend and brother. Now he's part of my family and he always will be."

Lori finished reading her paper out loud The English assignment had been to write about someone significant in your life. Someone who had changed your life for the better. After much thought Lori had chosen Kyle. It had been kind of obvious but she just hadn't seen it before. When she walked into her English classroom her teacher- Mr. Ritzier had asked her to read her paper out loud. When she had gotten it back, Lori was surprised to see she had gotten an A. Then Mr. Ritzer singled her out and asked her to read the paper out loud. Lori had no choice. She finished and took her seat.

"See class. That is true work! It came from the heart! Ms. Trager, bravo!"

"Thanks." Lori was a little freaked out by the whole "Bravo!" thing. But, still an A was good news. The bell rang and the class was dismissed to lunch. Lori immediately found Kyle, Amanda and Hillary in the cafeteria. Hillary was doing her makeup and Kyle and Amanda were consumed in conversation with each other. Lori sat down,

"I've got great news!" Everybody at the table looked up, "I got an A on my English paper!"

"That's great! Wait- don't you have Ritzer? Nobody gets an A in his class!" Hillary said.

"Well I did! We had to write a paper on someone who changed our life for the better."

"Whom did you write about?" Amanda asked.

"I wrote about our very own Einstein!" Lori responded cheerfully.

"You wrote about Kyle?" Hillary was the first to get it.

"Yes I did."

"Why?" Kyle was confused, why would Lori write about him?

"Because, I don't know you're always able to make me feel better after anything horrible. You just make me feel safe." Lori looked up and saw Kyle looked extremely confused.

"Really?" Kyle was rather unsure about how to react to that news

"Yes! You're always been there for me! Even when I was a total jerk to you!"

" Your never that bad!"

"Kyle! Be serious!"

"Okay. Maybe occasionally…"

"That's better."

"I still don't think I've changed your life for the better."

"Yes you have. Trust me."

"Okay." There was a long silence.

"So…" Hillary started, "Anyone seen Mr. Callaghan's new car?"
