"Moony?" I knock on the door to our shared dorm five times. "Why don't you wanna date me? Come on, just let me know. I've been really good this term, you daft bookworm, and it's you who's made me grow. (Not that way! Well, yeah that way.) We've only kissed a couple times, and I want more. Remmy, please just give it a try. Come on, just one date." I put my face against the floor and sing "But hopefully more than one date."
Remus opens the door and says "If I say yes, will you leave and let me study?!"
I grin, answer "Okay, byeee" steal a kiss, and run before he can retaliate.

I knock five times on the bathroom door so he knows it's me. "Remus, please just let us do this. We're your best mates, you know we care. You prat, we just wanna stay with you, so you don't have to be alone out there. (Come on, Rem!) We already went through with it, so you might as well just give up, it's almost time." I make muggle clock noises with my tounge till he grumpily exits the bathroom and lets us walk him to the Whomping Willow.

I wet my lips and attempt to speak, but all I can muster are tears that refuse to flow over. I swallow painfully and start singing a tune from a long time ago. "Moony? Please, I've finally come back. You're probably wondering why I'd gone. I know it wasn't fair of me, but you have to see, I'd felt all alone. You know you are my best mate. I still love you. The hell am I gonna do." I sigh and lean with my back against the door. I smile despite how shitty I feel as my next words form in my mouth. "Remmy, do you wanna date me?"
I fall backwards as the door opens. Strong, firm arms catch me gently. Remus turns me around and we kiss 12 years worth of kisses. "You daft, pup. Of course I do." He whispers against my lips and pulls me into the library by my coat collar.
