I stood in shock as Princess Celestia struck our precious moon princess for her great idea. I shared looks with my fellow orphans and fostered ponies then we acted, walking forward as one. Ponies stared in shock as we orphans strode through the door without any care to what their sun princess demanded.

Our unicorns lifted a crying Princess Luna and I shocked everyone by finally talking,"You think that you can rule our decisions just because you rise the sun? Think again Celestia. You once had my respect. But now that our Moon Mother has been harmed by you, we are leaving whether you want us to or not!"

Princess Luna smiled softly at me and we took her out to the courtyard that was full of our group. The matron tried her best to herd us back to our orphanage but soon Princess Luna's night magic washed over each of us, letting us canter up around her beautiful form.

I floated in front of her as she dropped the crown, necklace, and boots to the ground, showing she would never be their Princess again. "Mama, can we go now?" I asked for the older and younger ponies flying up in their with us.

She looked around for any stray foals from our group and she nodded, taking off as we followed her closely, being lost to the Sun loving ponies through the thick fog that our Pegasus created suddenly, shocking them into losing speed so they wouldn't crash into the mountain we had gone over. Now we would be the Children of the Night, no matter what Celestia wanted or thought was right.
